A replication peer is another cluster configured as a destination for native replication. For the complete procedure for configuring replication, including creating a replication peer, see Configuring Native Replication.

From the left navigation menu, select Data Protection and then Replication Peers.
The following information is displayed:
Field
Description
Name
The name of the replication peer.
State
The state of the replication peer. Possible values:

Connected. The connection with the remote peer is alive.

Not Connected. There is no connection with the remote peer.
Remote VIP
A VIP belonging to the remote peer's replication VIP Pool, used for connecting to the remote peer.
For example: 172.16.10.10
Local VIP Pool
The replication VIP Pool configured on the local cluster.
Remote Space Left
The logical capacity remaining available on the remote peer.
Last Heart Beat
The time of the last successful message sent, arrived and acknowledged by the peer.
Remote Version
The software version running on the remote peer.

Yes. The replication peer was configured on the local cluster.

No. The replication peer was configured on the remote peer and mirrored to the local cluster.

To modify the configuration of a peer, click to open the Actions menu for the peer and select Edit. Make your changes and then click Update.
A replication peer may not be deleted if it is being used by a protection policy.
To remove a peer, click to open the Actions menu for the peer and select Remove. Click Yes to confirm the removal.
