The Analytics page lets you view predefined or customized analytics reports, and also create customized reports.
An analytics report displays data according to which object(s), such as the cluster, a particular CNode or view, and which properties, for example bandwidth or patency, are selected in the report definition. For each object included in the report, a separate graph is displayed.
Each report has a default time resolution and timeframe, although these can be changed while viewing.
-
From the left navigation menu, select Analytics -> Analytics.
-
Select a report from the Predefined Analytics list or the Customized Analytics list.
-
Use the search box to find a report by name.
-
Use filters to filter the list of reports.
-
-
Once the report is displayed, you can:
-
Set a custom Time Resolution:
-
Change the displayed timeframe in the Defined Time field. Choose from one of the available timeframes (10m, 2h, and so on). These vary depending on the time resolution, since data with lower granularity is stored for longer. (See How far back is data available?)
-
Zoom in, by clicking and dragging over part of the graph.
-
Change the period of time shown in the graph. Click
to change the specific period of time shown in the graph. By default, the graph shows the most recent data, with the timeframe ending at the present time.
-
Select an Aggregation Type to change the aggregation function you are viewing. This is relevant and available if you are viewing aggregated data samples, since several aggregation functions are calculated and you can choose which one to display. Note that if the time resolution is set to seconds, the data samples are raw and therefore aggregation type is not available.
-
Display a graph for a particular object by choosing the object name from the Select Object dropdown.
-
Set Intersampling Status to On to display the deltas between each value and the previous one, instead of the values themselves.
-
Use Sync Y to control synchronization of Y axis scaling across multiple graphs displayed on the page. If enabled (default), all graphs are shown with the same maximum and minimum possible values on their Y axis. If disabled, each graph has its own scaling of the Y axis.
-
If the report you want to see doesn't exist, it's easy to create a new one.
-
In the left navigation menu, choose Analytics -> Analytics.
-

-
Under Predefined Analytics, select a predefined report that is similar to the one you want to create and click

-
-

The report is created, and opened for you.
