This command modifies a VMS manager user.

Usage

manager modify [--id ID|--username NAME]
               [--password PASSWORD] 
               [--prompt-password]    
               [--first-name NAME] 
               [--last-name NAME]

Required Parameters

--id ID

Identifies the manager with the manager ID.

--username NAME

Identifies the manager with the manager's username ID.

Options

--password PASSWORD

The manager password.

--prompt-password

If specified, the manager is prompted for the password.

--first-name NAME

The manager's first name.

--last-name NAME

The manager's last name.

Example

To change the last name of a manager with username jsmith:

vcli: admin> manager modify --username jsmith --last-name Gale
